The Regal is delighted to announce the return of the Regal Family Fun Day 2026, taking place on Sunday 5 July 2026 at The Burgage in Tenbury Wells.

Promising a vibrant day packed with entertainment, activities, stalls, music and family-friendly fun, the event is set to once again bring together families, local organisations, businesses and visitors from across the region for a fantastic community celebration.

The free-to-attend event will feature a wide range of attractions designed for all ages, including live entertainment, arts and crafts, games, food vendors, community stalls and interactive activities. Organisers are currently inviting expressions of interest from traders, charities, activity providers and local businesses looking to be part of the day.

The Regal Family Fun Day has quickly become a highlight of the local calendar, creating an opportunity for the community to come together in the heart of Tenbury Wells and celebrate everything that makes the area special.

The Regal is also appealing for volunteers to help support the day and ensure the event runs smoothly. Volunteers can assist in a variety of ways throughout the event.

New Theatre Director - Welcome Mike Groves to Regal

Regal is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Groves as its new Theatre Director, ushering in an exciting new chapter as the theatre prepares to celebrate its landmark 90th anniversary year in 2027.

Mike joins Regal from his role as Public Events Manager at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, where he led the delivery of large-scale public events and built a reputation for creating engaging, high-quality visitor experiences. His background combines strong operational leadership with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.

In addition to his events expertise, Mike brings extensive experience within the theatre industry, having held director and producer roles across a range of productions. He has played a key part in bringing successful, sell-out performances to life, demonstrating both creative vision and a deep understanding of what resonates with audiences.

In his new role, Mike will oversee the day-to-day operations of the theatre, lead and develop the team, and play a central role in enhancing the overall guest experience during this milestone year and beyond.
