Volunteer Extraordinaire

Hattie has lived in Cleobury for fifteen years. Two years ago, after she completed her degree in Art and Design she started volunteering at the Regal when her aunt encouraged her to contact us. She initially started off doing set paintings for the community theatre but by the following year in 2024, she was painting amazing sets for the Cinderella Panto. In 2025 Hattie asked if she could get more involved. Due to her Tech interest, she has been working with our Sound and Lighting Team Coordinator, learning to set up lights, about setting sound ques and she also often volunteers on the live auditorium shows loading and unloading equipment and being generally on hand to assist and help out where needed.

Hattie has become an integral part of the Regal team. She also volunteers as a Projectionist, running films whilst also taking shifts on the Bar both front and studio and assists the Marketing department every week. She has spent countless hours learning new things and she will often be found in the office helping with events, writing up our chalk board, putting up posters, painting and is always happy to help out where needed. Hattie says “the best part of volunteering at the Regal is that I am learning so many new and interesting things and I find that the variety of things that I do is helping me build my skillset whilst also working with such a great team”.
